Krista is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the mental health field for almost 20 years. She has a specialization in trauma and abuse, with experience in diverse settings, including residential treatment facilities, foster care, probation, and outpatient mental health settings. Krista is an accepting and empowering therapist with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC). Krista has developed and delivers trainings at both the local and state level.
Combining person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches, Krista works with her clients to provide emotional support, improve personal insight and growth, and develop tools for daily living. Special areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
