Wendy has been working in the behavioral health field for 12 years, and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2018. She has worked in various settings including private practice, residential care, preschool therapeutic support, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. Wendy is also Certified Complex Trauma Professional.


Wendy seeks to create a safe, calming environment for her clients while using an integrative approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs. As part of her approach, Wendy draws on various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Clients are able to use any form of creative expression to convey their concerns (i.e. art, poetry, literature, music). Wendy looks at the overall health of the individual she is working with in addition to their mental health.

Wendy is passionate about working with children and adolescents. She has a focus in working with children and adolescents with school needs and she enjoys building relationships with school counselors and attending IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and 504 meetings. She also enjoys helping young adults transition to and from college, and supporting them while they are attending college.  Finally, Wendy works with adults up to age 60, and is available to help with many issues including those regarding career, life adjustments, transitions, and grief/loss.
