Dr. Hess is a licensed psychologist and has experience working with adults and teens struggling with a wide range of issues. She has experience working in college counseling, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Marywood University and completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at Central Regional Hospital in North Carolina. She utilizes an integrative, holistic approach and collaborates with clients to help them achieve their personalized goals in a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space. She utilizes evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy. Dr. Hess also incorporates therapeutic strategies from positive psychology, and humanistic therapy modalities. She enjoys working with many presenting issues, including:​
