We don't think our way into a new way of living, we live our way into a new way of thinking.

Kylie Cuchran, MA
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor

Kylie believes therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted for who you are. She views the therapeutic relationship as collaborative and believes that clients are the experts on their own lives. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

Kylie works with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a variety of challenges. She is particularly passionate about trauma work and helping individuals who have experienced difficult or painful experiences create a greater sense of safety, understanding, and control in their lives. Kylie also works with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, relationship changes, and disconnection.

Her approach is integrative, person-centered, and strengths-based. Depending on each client's needs and goals, she may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, and trauma-informed interventions. She also may draw on Gottman's approach in couples work.

Kylie is passionate about professional development and lifelong learning, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University, with a focus in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. Kylie works with many presenting issues, including the following:
