Donna is a Licensed Professional Counselor with twenty years of experience working with adults. Her approach to therapy is psychodynamic and primarily combines analytic, object-relations, and cognitive modalities. She believes that being heard and feeling understood is the catalyst for healing, which provides a starting point for growth and change.

During times of transition or loss we may feel alone in our struggle.  Sharing in a therapeutic relationship can assist us as we process our struggles and desire to transform them. Emotions and thoughts, when considered in a larger context, can become our allies.

Donna focuses on helping clients to feel supported and safe.  She believes that difficult times often bring gifts to help us grow.

Some of her areas of interest include:

Grief and Loss

Depression

Anxiety and Stress Management

Marital Stress and Relationship Difficulties

Life Transitions

Care-taking for Loved Ones

Mid-Life Changes and Challenges

Creative Blocks and Artistic Angst

Unresolved childhood and family of origin issues
